Meet Dawn

I have lived, worked, and raised my family on the Hamilton Mountain for over 20 years. I've been happily married to my husband who is the Ward 8 Councillor for 22 years. I've dedicated my career to helping others, first as a radiation therapist at the Juravinksi Cancer Centre and now as a Professor at Mohawk college.

For the past decade I've also had the honour of serving the Central Mountain as the Ward 7 Trustee at HWDSB advocating for our students, families, and public education. I deeply understand the concerns of this community and the impacts of the Ford government. Families are struggling to make ends meet. The time for change is now.

Hamilton Mountain deserves a strong, practical voice at Queen’s Park, one that listens to the needs of our community and puts people first. The NDP has been too focused on extreme policies that don’t address the real concerns of everyday families. We need a government that’s grounded in the values of fairness and opportunity for all—one that prioritizes the essentials, like better healthcare, affordable housing, and a safe, prosperous community.

Empowering Communities, Building Together

My vision for Hamilton Mountain revolves around building a thriving and inclusive community. I am dedicated to addressing key issues such as healthcare, education, and economic growth.  I am committed to working tirelessly to make our vision for a better future a reality.

I’m excited to be part of Bonnie Crombie’s team, because we share a commitment to addressing issues facing Hamilton Mountain. Together, we can drive the change that will build a better future for our community and for all of Ontario!
